The Morning Hunt

Hard to believe I've drawn Fuli twice now, and neither of those times have used her proper cub design yet.  

For the most part, this was mostly just further practice on getting my anthro anatomy to look right. I got the idea after seeing how no one's really drawn Fuli in anthro form yet (at least not that I could see), and how I wanted to do more anthro art anyway. So after some encouragement from QueenNalaTheLioness (queennalathelioness.dev…), I put two and two together and ended up with this. I imagine the scenario here being in a tribal version of the Pride Lands, where Fuli and the other Lion Guard members continue their tradition of defending the kingdom into adulthood until the next guard leader (Kovu/Kiara's second-born) is ready to take over for them. Here, Fuli's going off on her own to the site where hyenas were spotted the previous day, fully prepared to strike if she sees them again. She's said to be the fastest in the Pride Lands, after all.
